Job description

Location: USA—Work from home #LI-Remote

mdf commerce Inc. is an international team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.

Working in the  ecommerce sector, we are currently looking for a meticulous wordsmith with a knack for storytelling to join the k-eCommerce marketing team as a Content Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate has a solid knowledge of SEO as it pertains to content marketing. S/he is a great writer, and an equally good editor who can tackle any subject matter and uphold education, drive thought leadership, compel engagement, create sales opportunities, and fuel brand awareness through their content. 

In this role, you will create, lead, and collaborate in the development of high-impact marketing content inclusive of short- and long-form assets: web pages, case studies, blogs, white papers, email, webinars, infographics, video, social media content, and more as the need arises. 

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, and partnering extensively with the marketing, sales, and product teams, you will set out to educate potential clients, driving engagement across the funnel, solidify k-eCommerce as a thought leader in B2B ecommerce, and boost brand awareness in our key ecosystems (Microsoft Dynamics and Acumatica).

What will your main responsibilities look like?

In this role, you will be led to:

  • Create monthly, quarterly and annual content plan to cater to full funnel focus (top, middle, and bottom of the funnel)
  • Write, curate, edit, publish, and promote short- and long-form content that drives site traffic, leads, MQLs, and brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (executive team, sales, product, etc.) to produce content that meets the needs of our target audience.
  • Own project management with vendors and outside agencies focused on content creation.
  • Support marketing programs (campaigns, events, partner marketing) by writing and editing a variety of assets: blogs, web content, email, newsletters, event collateral, social content, and others as they arise.
  • Edit/optimize all content, making sure each piece adheres to k-eCommerce brand guidelines, style, tone, etc., and is grammatically correct and consistent.
  • Build and manage content audit and asset inventory process.
  • Provide content gap analysis reporting to help determine content needs.
  • Support growth marketing with management of digital marketing agency focused on SEM, paid social, and SEO.
  • Manage social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.

What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Journalism, Public Relations, Psychology or other related field and/or equivalent education/experience.
  • At least 5 years of work experience as a B2B content creator, or held a position in the marketing team, preferably as a Content Marketer.
  • Domain expertise in ecommerce a plus.
  • Ability to evaluate pipeline impact on content created.
  • Creative abilities to produce engaging and compelling content within budget.
  • Communication skills must be exceptionally good, both in written and verbal form.
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks with ease, work independently as well as with a team and to excel in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented setting.
  • Highly adaptable to change in the market.
  • Able to form strong and meaningful relationships with media personnel, collaborators, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Experience with social media management.
