Outpatient Coding Specialist ED Profee/Facility Fee

Elevate is currently recruiting for a part-time ED profee and facility fee coding specialist for a critical access hospital.  

What you’ll do:

• Review Emergency Room Facility and Profee medical records and properly code the charts
• Meet or exceed high quality and productivity standards, to provide exceptional coding services to our clients
• Communicate and collaborate with inpatient coders and managers to address the dynamic needs of our clients
• Keep active coding certifications and complete continuing education to maintain expertise

What you’ll need:

• Current CCS, RHIA, RHIT through AHIMA or CPC through AAPC coding credentials are required
• 3 or more years of ED facility and profee coding experience
• Access to high speed internet and workstation. Elevate IT requirements are available upon request
• Candidates must reside within the United States

Job Type: PRN 20 hours per week.
