Job description

This is a remote position.

Client Overview
Join a dynamic, growth-oriented manufacturing company specializing in industrial adhesives. This small but ambitious organization is on a rapid expansion trajectory, having recently undergone a complete rebranding. With a focus on innovation and pushing boundaries in the industrial sector, they’re seeking a talented Wordpress Developer and Analyst to elevate their digital presence and support their exciting growth initiatives.

Scope:
  • 25 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday, 9AM - 2PM Council Bluffs, IA

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the management team on website technical and content-related matters.
  • Analyze and improve website performance through KPIs related to traffic, conversions, and technical elements.
  • Provide recommendations for improving website performance from both a technical and content perspective.
  • Manage the backend of the website (WordPress, CSS, databases) and have a solid understanding of the WordPress ecosystem, including plugins and modules.
  • Ensure user-friendly frontend design (UX/UI) to improve user engagement.
  • Monitor website analytics (Google Analytics 4) and SEO performance (using tools like SEMrush), and provide ongoing reports with actionable insights.
  • Increase website traffic through both organic and paid channels.
  • Improve user engagement and conversions (e.g., lead forms, appointments, brochure requests).

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in WordPress development, including both front-end and back-end
  • Strong skills in Google Analytics, SEO, and SEM.
  • Experience in website backend and frontend management.
  • Knowledge of WordPress and relevant tools for enhancing website functionality.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with senior business professionals in the U.S.
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills in English
