Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $106,700.00 - $177,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
The Senior Manager, Learning & Development, for Sales & Service will be responsible for creating and implementing effective learning strategies and experiences to support our Residential Sales and Service teams. This role will ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve Sales and Service targets and support our evolving business. The Senior Manager will collaborate with Sales & Service Leadership to identify and prioritize learning needs, design and develop training content, and evaluate effectiveness. Additionally, this role will oversee the development and implementation of ongoing training plans and explore new learning technologies to enhance the learning experience. The Senior Manager will manage a team of learning professionals and provide leadership and guidance to ensure the success of the Learning & Development initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Partner with Sales & Service Leadership to identify learning needs for employee development to address specific technical, procedural, behavioral, career, and other skill/capability gaps.
Develop and deliver effective learning strategies and experiences for frontline Sales & Service leaders and team members.
Align and prioritize immediate learning needs to prepare teams for future business changes.
Ensure proper analysis and design, monitor development, secure resources for development if necessary, and partner in implementation planning and evaluation strategy for training content.
Collaborate with Training Delivery partners on training implementation plans and feedback cycle to drive continuous improvement.
Monitor and evaluate learning effectiveness of training content and programs.
Establish and sustain a training plan for ongoing reinforcement and explore, test, and expand new learning technologies.
Oversee technologies and tools used for content development ensuring they meet the needs of the development team and partner with applicable groups to remove barriers and share best practices.
Provide ongoing consultation on Learning & Development research, learning theory and technologies, instructional design, and learning technologies.
Set Learning & Development strategic objectives and priorities.
Lead and inspire team of Managers and/or Learning Consultants by fostering culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability.
Perform other duties as requested.

Who You Are
Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 8 years of experience. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 6 years of experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years of experience in a related field; or 12 years’ experience in a related field with no degree.
3+ years’ experience in management or leadership role
Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, presentation, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills required to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
Demonstrated capacity to thrive and lead/influence others in a high-change, often ambiguous business environment.
Requires strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, and familiarity with Articulate 360 and Microsoft Excel.
Preferred:
Degree in Learning & Development, Adult Education, Organizational Development, Educational Studies, Instructional Design, Training Management, Communication or Business. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience in Telecommunications desired.
Proficiency in Articulate 360 and other content authoring tools preferred.
Certification in CPTM, APTD, CPTD.
