Job Summary

The Sales Documentation Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales Operations team by creating, maintaining, and distributing documentation on organizational changes and process adjustments for Fiscal Year 2026. This role is responsible for translating these changes into clear, concise documentation that impacts supporting systems, including Salesforce and Clari. The ideal candidate has a strong background in documentation practices, and a deep understanding of sales operations, Salesforce, and forecasting tools.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Document FY26 Organizational Changes: Collaborate with Sales Operations and cross-functional teams to gather information on the FY26 structural changes and translate them into comprehensive documentation for internal stakeholders.
  • System Impact Documentation: Analyze and document the impact of organizational changes on supporting systems, such as Salesforce and Clari, with a focus on adjustments to Territory Management processes, data structure, and reporting.
  • Territory Management Support: Work closely with Territory Planning teams to create clear guides and manuals on territory structures, assignments, and processes for FY26, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
  • Standardize Documentation Practices: Establish and maintain standardized templates, guidelines, and processes for Sales documentation to improve consistency, clarity, and accessibility.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Training Support: Partner with Sales Enablement and Operations teams to communicate documentation updates, provide training support materials, and ensure that end-users have the necessary resources to navigate system and process changes effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly review documentation for accuracy and consistency, updating materials as changes occur. Suggest and implement improvements to enhance document usability and accessibility.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Technical Writing, Documentation, or a related role within a sales-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and forecasting tools (Clari preferred)
  • Knowledge of sales workflows, reporting structures, and territory planning
  • Experience documenting complex processes, ideally within a sales or operations context
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Territory Management processes and documentation
  • Familiarity with change management practices within a sales environment
