Job Title: Microsoft Purview Specialist

Location: Remote within Sweden

Employment: Full-Type.

Sponsorship: Subject to requirements.

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Purview Specialist to join our team. As a Microsoft Purview Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Purview solutions to ensure data security, governance, and compliance across our organization. If you have a deep understanding of Microsoft Purview and experience in defining and implementing retention policies, data governance, and data classification strategies, we encourage you to apply.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement retention policies and retention labels in Microsoft Purview to ensure data lifecycle management and compliance
  2. Develop and maintain data governance strategies and policies using Microsoft Purview
  3. Drive end-user adoption of Microsoft 365 services, including training and support
  4. Design and build data classification strategies utilizing sensitive information types, manual and automatic labeling across M365 and other endpoints
  5. Monitor and analyze Purview Secure Score and Purview Compliance Score to identify areas for improvement
  6. Troubleshoot complex technical issues with multiple layers of applicable security policies across M365, Azure, and other technologies
  7. Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft 365 roadmap changes and proactively learn new ways to solve technical challenges


Requirements
  1. Deep understanding of Microsoft Purview, including Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management, Information Protection, Data Lifecycle Management, Audit, Compliance Manager, Data Security, Data Governance, and Risk and Compliance
  2. Experience in defining and implementing retention policies and retention labels in Microsoft Purview
  3. Experience with Data Governance in Microsoft Purview
  4. Experience driving end-user adoption of Microsoft 365 services
  5. Ability to design and build data classification strategies utilizing sensitive information types, manual and automatic labeling across M365 and other endpoints
  6. Understanding of all components that comprise the Purview Secure Score and Purview Compliance Score
  7. Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues with multiple layers of applicable security policies
  8. Proactive approach to learning new ways to solve technical challenges and staying up to date with Microsoft 365 roadmap changes

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with Azure and other Microsoft technologies
  2. Certification in Microsoft Purview or related field
  3. Experience with data security and compliance regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA
