This is a remote position.


Schedule:

  • Part-time, (20 hours per week) Monday to Friday 10am CST - 3pm CST (With 1 hour of unpaid break)

Responsibilities
  • Boost event attendance through targeted member outreach and engagement strategies
  • Create captivating LinkedIn content to showcase community achievements and activities
  • Provide prompt, insightful responses to member inquiries across various Slack channels
  • Support lead generation efforts and manage initial communications with potential members
  • Coordinate and schedule networking opportunities between community members and leadership
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance member retention and overall engagement
  • Collaborate on growth initiatives, with a focus on expanding into the Latin American market
  • Assist in organizing and moderating weekly community events


Requirements


  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proven experience in managing online professional communities, preferably in the startup sector
  • Proficiency with Slack, LinkedIn, and other relevant social media platforms
  • Strong organizational abilities and capacity to juggle multiple tasks effectively
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, customer-centric approach
  • In-depth understanding of the startup ecosystem and current tech/business trends
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment
  • Spanish language skills are a plus, particularly for engaging with the Latin American market
  • Passion for startups and ability to connect with diverse community members
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving community needs and growth opportunities
