Description

SEWS—El Paso Customer Service Center (Eastside).  This is a Remote Work position, the selected candidate may reside and perform work in any of the following states; Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas or Florida.  No relocation benefit will be offered for this position

Basic Purpose: 

• Performs systems and software analysis, development, implantation and administration based on consultation with system users
  base to enhance overall company performance.
• Answers customer inquiries covering systems operation; diagnoses system hardware, software and operator problems, and
  recommends or performs remedial actions to correct problems based on knowledge of system operation.
• Acts as the representative of Information Systems on various committees.
• Provide technical leadership to the applications group to implement containers over our standards .NET applications
• Provide technical leadership to the applications group to move all current environments from on-premise to the cloud

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Performs systems and software analysis, development, implementation and administration based on system users' requirements
  to enhance overall company performance
• Plans, design, develop, and release new system versions
• Conducts studies, analyze test data and debugs new and modified computer programs and applications
• Train system users on all major changes made to the applications that support the related area of the business
• Answers customer inquiries covering systems operation; diagnoses system hardware, software and operations problems, and
  recommends or performs remedial actions to correct problems.
• Manages multiple projects of the business with information systems resources
• Acts as the representative of Information Systems on various committees
• Act as Business Analyst and work closely with outsourcing companies to ensure development is aligned with requirements
• Provide technical leadership to all applications group to implement containers over current .NET systems
• Lead the migration of all systems from on-premise servers to cloud servers with containers per system to be able to share
  resources

• 7 – 10 years’ experience in developing client-server applications
•  Detailed knowledge of database development, application development, and systems architecture
  • Detailed knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization
  • Detailed knowledge of cloud systems architecture
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with git repositories
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Manufacturing Experience is a plus
• Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus
