Job Title: SDG Strategist & Analyst

Level: Internship

Team: ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Department

Status: Full-time (depending on situation, Part-time or Fractional hours available)

Duration: Equivalent to a minimum of 520 Hours (or 3 months minimum)

Work location: Remote (with hybrid options in Toronto and Chicago only)

Compensation: Hourly (paid in equity compensation equivalent to CAD $32/hour)

About the Job:

As an SDG Strategist & Analyst Intern, you will contribute to shaping Vosyn’s role in achieving its sustainability agenda and the SDGs. You will use data-driven research and strategic insights to show how Vosyn’s AI technology aligns with global sustainability goals.

This role is perfect for someone interested in applying their knowledge of the SDGs to real-world technology applications and who wants to contribute meaningfully to ethical AI development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and develop use cases that illustrate Vosyn’s alignment with the SDGs and our contributions to addressing societal and environmental challenges.
• Collaborate with the ESG Strategy team to align use cases with our broader impact strategy and responsible AI mission.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and impactful representation of Vosyn’s SDG-related contributions.
• Stay updated on sustainability trends, SDG priorities, and global best practices, applying these insights to inform Vosyn’s strategic positioning.
• Support ESG reporting efforts by providing insights and data on SDG alignment and progress

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree (in progress or recently completed) in Business and Sustainability, Public Policy, Marketing, or a related field, with a strong understanding of strategic communications and sustainability.
• Strong knowledge of ESG principles, particularly in social impact, ethical AI, and SDGs.
• A strong understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and how they apply to technology and corporate strategy.
• Exceptional writing and content strategy skills with an ability to create engaging ESG content for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong grasp of strategic marketing, positioning, and brand-building, particularly as it relates to ESG and sustainability.
• Ability to analyze market trends and create strategic recommendations to enhance ESG positioning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for developing content that resonates with a diverse audience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail and work collaboratively across virtual teams.
• Self-directed and highly motivated, with an eagerness to learn and contribute meaningfully to our ESG journey.
