The Thuma team is looking for a Logistics Analyst to join our effective, lean, quickly growing remote team. We hire for integrity, initiative, collaborative spirit, open mindedness, and willingness to learn.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Systems and Projects you’ll use your keen understanding of data, systems, and reporting to support key daily operational activities that drive the Thuma business. You’ll support in reporting our logistics spend: including inbound, fulfillment and outbound. In this role you’ll be charged with gathering data to proactively suggest process/carrier improvements that will reduce overall fulfillment costs. You will also be a resource for Operations, Product, and Finance teams at Thuma.
Thuma’s Headquarters is based in the historic Presidio neighborhood of San Francisco. We prefer this role to be based in San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Chicago but are open to remote applications as well.

Key Responsibilities:Reporting and Analysis:Support regular reporting: Quality, Spend, Ship times, SLA’s, etcBe a resource for the Product and Design team on anticipated fulfillment costs for conceptual designsEnsure data integrity for proactive modeling and rates analysisPrepare data for Inbound, Outbound, and Fulfillment RFP’sCompile and calculate data for new proposal impact, and track expected vs. actualized costs
Operations Support:Review outbound shipments and carrier efficiencies by region, SKU, and serviceSupport international fulfillment operations. Including, but not limited to, Commercial Invoice creation, compliance labels, and customs data auditingSupport CX & Operations’ requests for inventory allocations, adjustments, and order exceptions in the ERP system
Systems and Data Maintenance:Maintain and audit ERP and WMS Item Master DataEnsure all dimensions, Origins, and HTS Codes are accurateReview logistics data for new product launches and ensure orders are shipping correctlyImport item data updates into the ERP using flat filesReview and maintain low-code automation flows with support and trainingThis Might Describe You:2+ years work experience in operations, logistics, supply chain operations Experience with rates analysis, data modeling and reportingComfortable with enterprise software systems or quick study (WMS, ERP, software platforms) Expert with Excel, G-suite, and data analysisStrong communication skills, ability to be concise and clear with both internal teams and third party partners Action bias and solutions oriented mindsetComfortable working in a remote-first work environmentYou’re able to manage your time and add value that the broader team can feel without being told what to doYou’re comfortable receiving and providing feedbackYou’re a team player and come to each new project with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Why Join Us
