Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
• Process audio recordings with meticulous attention to detail while adhering to established style guides to deliver verbatim transcripts.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the integrity of transcribed content.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
• Exceptional listening skills coupled with outstanding literacy abilities, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
• Strong typing proficiency, both in speed and accuracy, with the ability to handle potentially challenging audio/text content.
• Familiarity with legal terminology is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting and adhere to deadlines while following client-specific style requirements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in legal transcription or related fields is required. Court reporting students may also be considered.
• Must possess a reliable computer or laptop, high-speed internet, and quality noise-canceling headphones. Recommended equipment includes an Infinity Foot Pedal and Microsoft Word.
