We are actively seeking experienced Legal/Judicial contract candidates skilled in transcribing depositions and hearings. This position offers the flexibility of a 100% remote work arrangement for Independent Contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate verbatim transcripts from audio recordings of depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
• Adhere to established style guides and maintain the highest standards of accuracy in transcriptions.
• Collaborate remotely with our supportive in-office team to ensure quality and resolve any inquiries as needed.
• Manage deadlines effectively to ensure timely delivery of transcripts.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is required.
• Exceptional listening abilities.
• Strong adherence to deadlines and attention to client-specific style guides.
• Excellent literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
• Proficiency in typing speed and accuracy.
• Ability to process sensitive audio/text content (content may be offensive).
• Familiarity with legal terminology.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Court reporting students are welcome to apply.
