Engineering Lead - Front End

Front end engineering lead- Next.JS, React.JS, Graph QL - Remote

My client a leader in their field are seeking Engineering Lead whom will play a key role in architecting and building a new front-end, leveraging headless architecture and API integrations. Experience with React.JS, Next.JS and Graph.QL will be required along with creating dashboards and portals.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team in designing and developing the B2B portal front-end.
• Technical Guidance: Collaborate with the Director of Technology to bring the architectural vision to life through technical solutions.
• Code Quality: Ensure robust code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
• API Integration: Coordinate closely with backend engineers to facilitate seamless API integrations.
• Roadmap Development: Contribute to the technical roadmap, identifying innovative opportunities.
• Front-End Development: Extensive experience developing customer-facing web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically Next.js and React.
• Headless Architecture: Strong understanding of headless CMS and API integrations; Contentful experience preferred.
• Middleware & APIs: Familiarity with GraphQL and self-hosted APIs for long-term readiness assessment.
• Design Systems: Hands-on experience with design systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
