Power BI Developer

• Designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will work closely with business
  
• Design and develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, data integration, and report/dashboard creation
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and design efficient and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards
  
• Develop complex Power BI data models to enable accurate and efficient data analysis and visualization
  
• Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies, and work with stakeholders to address them
  
• Create and maintain data connections and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI.
  
• Optimize performance and usability of Power BI reports and dashboards by tuning queries, implementing efficient data models, and applying best practices
  
• Ensure data security and compliance standards are met by implementing appropriate security measures and access controls within Power BI
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate Power BI with other systems and data sources, including on-premises and cloud-based platforms
  
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Power BI developers, assisting them in solving complex problems and improving their skills
  
• Production Support of reports, dashboards, and schedules for EMEA and North American user base
  
• Train and support end users, as well as self-service capabilities to help non-technical business users build their own analytics and reporting solutions
  

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as an analytics developer specializing in Power BI
  
• Proficient in utilizing Power Query and DAX
  
• Experience using Denodo is a plus
  
• Experience utilizing APIs
  
• Alytryx experience a plus​
  
• Experience with Cloud based platforms (Preferably Azure) is a plus
  
• Hands on experience with Power BI on-premises enterprise data gateways
  
• Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Cognos) is a plus
  
• Exposure to PowerApps and Power Automate is a plus
  
• Very strong understanding of relational and dimensional databases and an ability to query databases to troubleshoot issues in reporting
  
• Clean User Interface / Dashboard design principles
