The
Head of Electrical Services manages the offering of our Electrical Services business, which centers around servicing low and medium voltage power distribution and control products. The Head of Electrical defines the overall strategy and roadmap of the electrical services offering (startup and commissioning/ power quality studies/ modernization projects/ digital metering and monitoring upgrades/ preventive maintenance/testing, etc.) and designs, implements and monitors organizational growth plans to increase revenue in the USA. Champions innovation and the adoption of new portfolio and technologies to maintain competitive advantage. Ensures growth readiness in the USA together with the Technical Units and drives growth actions together with Sales, Zones and Area Sales.
As the Head of Electrical Services, you will:
- Define rollout strategy, lifecycle and local positioning of the assigned electrical services portfolio, in line with the given strategy of the business
- Designs, implements, drives and continuously monitors organizational growth plans to increase order intake, market share and profit margins for the electrical services business
- Build & develop a robust, engaged and growth-oriented network within the Building organization and drive a proactive collaborating with Global Tech Units and other Business Units (e.g. EP, EA)
- Shape team and effectively lead towards strategic goals
- Ensures constant observation of relevant markets (competitor activities, portfolio gaps, standards, and regulations within target markets, etc.)
- Monitors performance of key portfolio and application elements in close contact with sales and partners and deriving necessary actions for growth together with Sales and Area Sales
- Responsible for localization of sales enablement and technical documentation. Initiates internal and external portfolio trainings and knowledge transfer
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven, successful track record in leading a portfolio organization and Business Development / Sales, preferably in the electrical power distribution industry
- Typically 10+ years of successful experience in a directly related electrical field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth and lead, collaborate and motivate across organizational boundaries
- Ability to build & develop a robust, engaged and growth-oriented network within the Building organization
- Firsthand experience interfacing into a global organization and successfully driving direction /requirements
- A strategic-innovative mindset and strong results orientation coupled with driving and taking initiative
- A high level of communications skills and a validated ability to collaborate and connect with employees and other partners at a senior management level

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Software, Management or a related field. MBA highly preferred.
- Proven sales and business development experience
- Strategy development: Defining goals and measures to achieve the future state of an organization
- Executive level leadership, organizational, negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Business knowledge: Setting business targets to support the entire Siemens value flow
- Business planning: Recognizing market/business developments. Providing relevant business data
- Portfolio and Product management: Defining sales strategy and objectives. Planning salesforce actions and apply tools
- Business process management: Defining, rolling out and improving organizational processes
- Change management: Systematically changing hard and soft facts in an organization
- Leading the transformation: Building and sustaining trust in a transformational work environment
- Leading with trust and empowerment: Creating an environment of trust, eliciting feedback, learning from mistakes
- Building and leading effective teams: Fostering team skills and motivation to achieve a common task

- The pay range for this position is $142,310 - $243,960 and the annual incentive target is 20%. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
