With some autonomy, completes most types of assignments through the application of standard engineering theories, techniques, and practices. Incorporates relevant regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices for the control, development, and application of deliverables.

General objective: Junior Counsel focused on the structuring, reviewing, drafting and negotiating both domestic and international engineering, procurement and construction projects, proposals, subcontracts and ancillary documents.

Responsibility

The candidates shall provide advice on the following legal aspects:

  • Review, draft and negotiate engineering, intellectual property licensing, equipment, and process technology project contracts and ancillary documents. Must be familiar with agreements that monetize intellectual property such as licensing and technology transfer, and various intellectual property-related provisions;
  • Foster and monitor compliance with Worley’s procedures, legal requirements, and management instructions;
  • Negotiate licensing agreements and non-disclosure agreements;
  • Provide active support to the sales, tendering, operations, construction, and sourcing functions regarding all relevant contractual and legal aspects;
  • Standardization of contract documentation;
  • Implementing, monitoring, and supporting Worley’s corporate and commercial policies and procedures;
  • Review, negotiate, and approve commercial terms contained in proposals, tenders, and project contracts; and
  • Advise and coordinate with the corporate insurance group and project managers on all insurance matters.
  • Advise and coordinate with the compliance group and project managers on compliance-related issues.

Experience Required

Minimum three Years in a Law Firm, an engineering and/or construction, or a transnational company.
