Seeking an experienced Regulatory Specialist with a backgournd in EMC, RF and Safety Regulatory to join our global Regulatory team!

In this role, you will work closely with our program managers, engineers, manufacturing partners and test laboratories to ensure successful global certifications.

The ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of technical specifications and approval processes and will apply experience to product certifications worldwide within schedule and budget. Staying up to date with new technologies and requirements is paramount with regular review of product specifications to ensure successful and continual compliance. Additionally, you will support system implementations that optimize the organization and drive continuous improvements.

This role can be performed remotely in the US or CANADA.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates, selects and applies International (EMC, RF & Safety) test standards, testing techniques, test procedures, and criteria for area of expertise.
  • Interfaces with other Regulatory Leads in their areas of expertise.
  • Develops relationships with internal and external partners, including, but not limited to Engineering, Product Management, Program Management, ODM/JDM partners, test labs, certification partners.
  • Liaise with internal and ODM/JDM Development teams to ensure successful compliance on new product development.
  • Prepares and reviews regulatory schedules, test plans and costing information from the test lab.
  • Prepares and reviews status documents for issues. Manages test or certification issues that arise.
  • Monitors and reports on new (EMC, RF & Safety) requirements that could impact Zebra products.
  • Supports Regulatory team members who specialize in complimenting areas.
  • Maintains & updates existing Zebra Regulatory Process Documents.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert who exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical performance experience required.
  • Minimum 5+ years product related in the areas of EMC, RF & Safety regulatory experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge in function, product, technology service, strategy, and business complexities in order to contribute to the development of creative solutions in area of expertise.
  • Technical competence with strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact with professionals and management to gather and disseminate information.
  • Program Management skills including ability to generate and review test plans, schedules and budgets.
  • Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment across many geographical boundaries and time zones.
  • Experience interacting with customers, certification bodies and test labs.
  • Ability to multi-task, assign and manage priorities in a shifting environment on multiple programs.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.

Salary: USD 82500.00 - USD 123700.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
