This fixed term role can be done 100% remotely from Poland

Your Role

As patent paralegal you are responsible for patent filings, such us assisting in preparing and filing of patent applications (direct national, PCT (International) applications, national stage applications, EP validations); including formal documents and documents in response to invitations to correct formal defects. Docketing, which means reviewing and monitoring incoming domestic correspondence; uploading of correspondence to IP management system and docketing of deadlines and other critical items in IP management system. You will be supporting the billing and payment process, reference management and IDS generation. You will also create and update invention and patent records, provide back-up support to other team members as needed and perform other duties as assigned. Please note this role is for fixed term contract.

Who You Are

  • 1-3 years patent prosecution experience
  • Formal training in patent paralegal and/or administrative support or professional experience in patent law firm or corporate patent department; preferably in international environment
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written; German is a plus
  • Experience with IP management software and strong computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Good team player, ability to work in a changing field of work, multi-task to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment and multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational, communications and interpersonal skills, as well as strong attention to detail and accuracy
