HubSpot has been on a massive growth trajectory ($2.5B+ ARR, 20%+ YoY growth) and is growing its Corporate Strategy team to drive the company’s growth even further. This team is responsible for partnering with the senior leadership team (e.g., C-Suite, SVPs and VPs) and the Board of Directors to define and accelerate HubSpot’s long term (4 - 6 year) strategy. We accomplish this by clearly articulating the strategic bets that underpin the company’s strategy while understanding the associated opportunities and risks. We then support operationalizing these bets by translating them into actionable plans as part of our strategic planning process. The Corporate Strategy team reports directly to the CEO, but will partner deeply with cross functional leaders in the Product and Go-To-Market organizations.
HubSpot is looking for Corporate Strategy Managers that have deep empathy for the needs of our customers, a strong pulse on the competitive landscape, and also understand how to scale businesses rapidly. They can then translate that understanding into strategic opportunities for HubSpot. As a Manager on the team, you’ll be a part of a project team which will tackle critical growth strategy questions facing HubSpot’s executive team. You’ll quickly realize that the challenge facing HubSpot is one of prioritization, focus, and sequencing, given our immense opportunity size. We look to the project team(s) you’ll be on to build the case on the right opportunities to focus on and how they should be sequenced within our long term strategy. Through working on high-impact, high-visibility projects, you will also get the opportunity to develop professionally as a leader and an influencer. With the team viewed as a key source of top talent for leadership roles across the business, working on Corporate Strategy opens up a range of long-term career paths within HubSpot - from growing within Corporate Strategy to taking on a high-impact operating role.
