As the Salesforce Developer, you will work closely with the Product Manager, System Architect, Solution Architect, and the Development Team to develop the client’s application and will also coach and mentor junior developers. The primary purpose of this role is to design and develop the application on the Salesforce platform; Apply secure practices that follow a DevSecOps approach; Participate in designing the application’s technical architecture.; and provide mentorship to Intermediate and Junior developers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Development

  • Develops designs based on documented requirements, including flowcharts, diagrams, models, and development directions.
  • Develop software solutions using clear commented code and conduct unit testing following the software development life cycle.
  • Analyzes and troubleshoots reported issues.
  • Defines and documents configuration specifications.
  • Performance tunes specific functions when necessary


Testing

  • Perform unit testing of all work and document code as per guidelines.
  • Write test scripts for Test-Driven Development when required.
  • Triage reported software defects, debug issues, isolate issues, and fix or identify appropriate workarounds or necessary design changes.

 Business Analysis

  • Review user requirements to create designs and/or review design specifications to create technical specifications.
  • Aid in the resolution of ambiguity in client processes where required as inputs for Salesforce or related processes.
  • Develop proof of concepts to demonstrate solutions.

 Leadership

  • Improves development operations by recommending changes in policies and procedures.
  • Supports and develops Developers by providing advice and coaching.
  • Participate in project planning and estimation.

 Safety & Compliance

  • Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures on/off site.
  • Uphold ISO27001 Information Security policies within the department and function.
  • Comply with Environmental policies and procedures on/off site.
  • This position has the authority to carry out the occupational health and safety responsibilities and accountabilities expected of it.

Requirements

Must-have Skills / Qualification:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Salesforce software development experience.
  • Experience in developing enterprise-level products that provide solutions for business and financial processes.
  • Proficient in developing applications using the Salesforce platform and tools; SOQL, Lighting web components, and APEX.
  • Understanding of different Salesforce integration methods/patterns
  • Experience integrating multiple systems within Salesforce and with external systems.
  • Experience processing processes with large data volumes.

  • Excellent understanding of object-oriented principles and software patterns
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Able to debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components.

  • Updates job knowledge by studying the latest development tools and programming techniques.

Working hours / Job Type:

Monday to Friday: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM Manila time (With 8 core working hours inclusive of 1- hour break)
