The Magnet Program Manager is responsible for assisting the CNO in the oversight, direction, and management of the Magnet program for assigned Facility or Facilities. The Manager assumes responsibility for coordination of the Magnet application, designation, and re-designation process. The Manager will coordinate activities required to attain and maintain Magnet status. The Manager will facilitate and oversee the preparation of documentation, policies, research, and informational sessions relative to obtaining Magnet designation.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1.            Current Registered Nurse license.

2.            Masters Degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent.

3.            Doctoral Preparation preferred.

4.            Minimum of five years of progressive Nursing Leadership experience preferred.
