How can you make an impact?

As the Senior Director of Program Management, you will lead the successful delivery of a portfolio of digital education products . You will inspire and empower a team of program managers, working closely with Product, Engineering, and User Experience teams to ensure our programs are clear, aligned, and impactful. Your leadership will help our programs deliver value, improve visibility, and build a proactive culture of risk management and collaboration.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead with Vision: Establish a vision for a high-performing program management team. Set high standards for yourself and your team, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth. Drive the program management function beyond just processes, focusing on making a real impact.
  • Communicate Clearly: Engage and build consensus across programs and cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, User Experience, Content, and go-to-market teams. Improve transparency at all levels of the organization, ensuring stakeholders have the right information at the right time.
  • Recruit, Mentor, Develop and Retain: Lead and mentor program managers to promote growth and improvement. Develop a scalable approach to leadership development and build strong relationships with other functions to maximize effectiveness.
  • Manage Risks Proactively: Create a culture of proactive risk identification and mitigation. Encourage your teams to creatively address risks before they become blockers. Foster quick iterations and feedback loops to keep projects moving smoothly.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Lead initiatives across departments to improve processes and increase teamwork. Gathering cross functional perspective to support more informed decisions that benefit the success of your programs
  • Balance Delivery and Team Well-being: Ensure successful program delivery while maintaining a healthy team environment. Prioritize both performance and well-being, fostering a supportive culture that values team growth.
  • Track Performance and Report: Set clear success metrics and track progress. Use data to make informed decisions, improve outcomes, and highlight key achievements.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee every stage of the program lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Continuously improve processes to ensure smooth and effective delivery.

The pay range for this position is between $110,000 - $170,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
