*SUMMARY: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Payroll; the role involves recording payroll related transactions in the company accounting system and maintenance of reconciliations for several payrolls across the World*

Responsibilities

_Tasks may include but are not limited to:_

Compilation and recording of general ledger journals

Complex payroll journals

Bank transactions

Accruals

Amortization of prepayments

Reconciliation and maintenance of payroll liability accounts

Correction of errors and mis-postings

Evidencing outstanding liabilities

Reporting and explaining changes in month-end liabilities

Responding to queries raised by the wider finance team

Assisting with financial year-end audit requirements and fiscal year reporting requirements

Assisting with the professional development of other members of the team

Actively seek areas for continuous improvement of processes and reporting

Excellent time management skills with ability to work within tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years’ experience of working within a finance department

Sound understanding of complex double-entry bookkeeping

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Strong command of business English, both written and verbal
