The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) proudly provides the highest quality integrated care for over 800,000 members in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. We invite applications for a specialist in Dermatology at our Reston, VA medical center location.

MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services.  Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.

  

What You Can Expect:

  • This position can range from a 0.8FTE to 1.0FTE, which is the equivalent of 32-40 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed below
  • Provide general dermatology care, in person and virtually, with support from a regional Mohs clinic, in a collegial atmosphere alongside excellent specialists/RNs/other staff and with integrated medical records
  • Provide narrowband UVB and broadband UVA phototherapy and robust home phototherapy, supported by our nurses and clinical pharmacists.
  • Robust teledermatology program allows you to work from home a few days a month
  • Clinical pharmacy-assisted methotrexate service
  • Set daily patient schedule <30
  • Collaboration within a large multi-specialty setting with all physicians easily accessible
  • New flexible templates available

Minimum Requirements:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Dermatology
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
  • Work visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $380,000 to $475,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
