The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting our businesses by conducting market and internal research to provide data-driven recommendations on compensation programs and their delivery, to ensure AGC Biologics remains competitive and compliant with legal requirements. This role will partner with our Europe compensation team to ensure harmonization and adherence to our compensation programs. The role performs and oversees various analytical and administrative duties to ensure consistency of job descriptions/requirements and compensation guidelines for the United States. These duties include, but are not limited to, compiling job data, analyzing jobs, benchmarking, and recommending pay grades, and administering the annual salary review, bonus, and long-term incentive programs and processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and recommends compensation objectives, policies, procedures, programs, pay grade structures and pay grades ensuring consistent and equitable pay practices and compliance with legal requirements.
Evaluates job responsibilities, analyzes, and compares jobs, reviews applicable survey data, and establishes salary grades for jobs.
Consult with and advise managers and leadership regarding job titles, salary grades, job classifications, pay changes, and pay practices.
Maintains job description library and ensures all job descriptions are up to date and appropriately graded.
Partner with P&C Business Partners and managers to promote effective use of compensation plans and programs to attract and retain critical talent.
First point of contact for HR business partners and those with compensation accountabilities to ensure consistent application of programs and policies.
Participate in the knowledge transfer of compensation programs and processes across the businesses and functions through discussion, listening, and building positive relationships.
Development and improvement of compensation-related reports and functionality in Workday.
Performs routine audits of grade accuracy using market-driven surveys or data.
Assists with planning and implementation of the US annual salary review cycle from budget determination to completion of the shared participation cycle.
Assists in the development of new pay ranges for acquisitions and new global locations, using US and global market data and cost of labor data.
Complete and/or lead additional special projects as assigned.
Assist with the benefit administration and support for the US Team Members.
Assist with the open enrollment process.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Systems-driven, analytical individual with experience using Workday is desirable.
Thorough knowledge of compensation laws, principles, and practices.
Experience with Variable and Sales Compensation analysis is a plus.
Advanced Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.) and Word skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to analyze large data files.
Knowledge of benefits and employment laws
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of compensation experience.
Proficiency with HR systems (e.g. Workday) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
Experience using statistical and financial software preferred.

$83,920.00 - $115,390
