What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a licensed clinician who will be part of the quality management team, someone who wants to ensure the highest standards of care. The Quality Assurance (QA) Clinician will monitor, review, and assist in maintaining compliance with standards and best practices. This role will also review medical records and report to assess quality of care, as well as assisting in quality assurance and improvement activities.
On a typical day, you might:
- Provide clinical oversight and monitoring of NCQA file reviews.
- Make sound judgments based on clinical and legal requirements
- Conduct inter-rater reliability.
- Provide consultation and technical assistance on evidenced based practice, scope of practice issues.
- Collaborate cross departmentally.
- Conduct post-payment reviews.
- Participate in appeals and hearing processes.
- Conduct peer clinical reviews.

Qualifications:
Education: Master’s
Bachelor’s with full licensure is acceptable
Experience: At least one (1) year of post-degree progressive experience providing similar services to the MH/SU/IDD population.
Preferred experience: Prefer a minimum of two (2) years post- Master’s experience in a clinical setting with the MH/SU/IDD population.
License/Certification: Active valid licensure in profession (social work, counseling, or psychology) is required. Active valid license in the state of North Carolina as a LCSW, LCMHC, LCAS, LPA, LMFT.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must reside in NC to be considered for remote status
