For this role, we are looking for applicants based in Nigeria, Zambia or Ethiopia


The Job

The Assurance Manager implements Tiko’s global verified results strategy. You proactively reduce the risks associated with executing our programs in all countries of operation. You also monitor and review all risk indicators to ensure they are within tolerable levels.

You'll also be responsible for:

    • Risk management strategy: You help design, test, and implement a risk management strategy that ensures Tiko complies with donor and regulatory requirements and minimises the risk of abuse of our resources in 
    • Control tools: You develop tools that Tiko and its partners can use to identify and verify the use of our Tiko platform and that allows us to take swift and appropriate action when needed. You will contract and oversee internal and external parties that oversee data verification, mystery clients and other assurance activities in countries of operation..
    • Auditing and investigations: It is your duty to ensure that day-to-day reviews of incidences, risk flags, and follow-up activities are carried out. Similarly, support in developing and implementing audit and investigation processes to ensure well-managed incidences, including SEAH investigations where necessary.
    • Risk reporting: You are responsible for the periodic risk reporting towards the organization and our donors.
    • Leading your team: You lead and develop the individuals in your team. You mentor them if needed. We also expect you to continue to develop yourself and keep abreast of new developments in your field.

    You lead by example and with the strength of your vision, you can build a strategy and ensure that goals are reached. You are someone who pays attention to detail and has excellent analytical skills. You have an extremely thorough approach to their work and ensure that tasks are followed up on and completed in a timely manner.


    Requirements

      • A finance or risk-focused qualification (CFE, CIA, CPA or any other relevant qualification).
      • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
      • You pay high attention to detail and have excellent analytical skills.
      • You have good problem-analysis and solving skills.
      • You can maintain high levels of confidentiality and your integrity is beyond reproach.
      • Must be Based in Nigeria, Zambia or Ethiopia
