The Technical Product Owner will lead the Enterprise Integration Build and Support Product Team, focusing on managing the product backlog, overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of integration solutions that leverage modern integration platforms and services. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in product ownership with a deep understanding of software development, integration technologies, and enterprise architecture. The Technical Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritizing the product roadmap and strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, gathering and refining user requirements, analyzing product performance data, and staying current with industry trends to ensure the solutions meet business needs and technical standards.

What You Will Do

  • Define and communicate the product’s technical vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, focusing the team on delivering high-impact features, enhancements and addressing technical debt.
  • Translate business goals and requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories for the development team.
  • Work closely with engineers and other teams to support and guide the development of solutions, ensuring technical viability.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and clear communication on product roadmap and progress.
  • Define acceptance criteria for backlog items and ensure that the delivered solutions meet these criteria.
  • Leverage data insights and monitor performance metrics to drive continuous product improvements, ensuring product quality and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and product enhancement.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience in product ownership, project management, or technical roles with a focus on integration platforms or enterprise systems.
  • Proven ability to manage product roadmaps, backlogs, and to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments, with a strong understanding of Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • 5+ years of experience with deep technical knowledge of modern integration technologies and concepts (e.g., API, microservices, message brokers, REST, and JSON), platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Kafka, and AWS), and enterprise architecture.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams, with the ability to be hands-on with building when needed.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights, providing key decision points to stakeholders and driving product improvements.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience working in a digital product-oriented delivery organization.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams, including remote and contractor staff, strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with product owners, other teams, and stakeholders; experience in providing feedback and facilitating continuous improvement.
  • Strong hands-on background in integration engineering, including integration platforms, streaming/events, EDI and API management; proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks. knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
