Job Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily production process, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. Key responsibilities include:

  • Production Oversight: Coordinate and manage production operations, ensuring schedules are followed and production targets are achieved.
  • Staff Management: Supervise, train, and mentor production operators, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Quality Control: Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards, reporting any issues to the Quality Assurance team.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, work with OHS to implement safety initiatives, and manage incident reporting and risk mitigation.
  • Schedule & Rostering: Coordinate staff rosters, manage breaks, and ensure appropriate coverage to maintain continuous production flow.
  • Equipment & Maintenance: Ensure production equipment is maintained according to schedule and kept in good working condition to prevent breakdowns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with departments like Logistics, Planning, and HR to ensure smooth operations and resolve any production-related issues.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time, including compliance records, performance reports, and safety reports.
