Job Description

This role will take on direct responsibilities on sales, and P&L for the assigned territory. He/she will develop, manage, and oversee implementation of agreed commercial strategy and plans - including route to market strategy, trade promotions, and trade activation.

He/she is an individual who is action-oriented and who has an ability to think strategically and who has a passion for tactical and detailed planning and execution.

He/she shall be responsible for executing effective sales & trade marketing plans based on measurable objectives versus cost, identify business opportunities and provide tools and support in collaboration with the sales team to grow the company's business.

Successful incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross departments on brand marketing plans, legal and corporate affairs, human resources, and finance related matters.

  • Take accountability and responsibility of the overall growth of the business, sales, revenue and brands in assigned market.
  • Manages key distributors, sub-distributors, wholesalers, and is responsible for taking control of commercial executions, including setting goals and targets, developing strategies, assessing the performance of the distributor and their team, and aligning department goals with the company's profitability goals.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to design, strategize, and implement comprehensive sales & trade marketing plans to grow company's brands in collaboration with key stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Develop, implement, and assess the department's effectiveness, identify errors, and make suitable changes in strategies to reach the targets and goals further, leading to overall profitability, sales, revenue generation, and business targets.
  • Responsible for meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives for the Business Development business unit
  • Analyse business tactics, sales strategies, performance analysis of the sales teams, competitor analysis, and market research.
  • Present analysis reports, presentations, and recommended strategy based on those analyses are conveyed to the stakeholders. Represent the business communication between the departments and the stakeholders.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks / projects assigned by immediate superior / representatives (Senior Management) in C suite
  • Role reports directly to GM, International Business Development


The Successful Applicant

  • Master/bachelor's in business or any other related field
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar capacity at least 3 years from the FMCG industry in Vietnam.
  • Strong ability in making data-driven decisions and comfortable in working with ROI and metric-driven models.
  • Possess exceptional leadership skills, being able to move and inspire a cross-functional group.
  • Proven and successful relationship building skills, having an ability to leverage partnerships.
  • Possess ability to grow at a fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurship mindset
  • Working Location: Vietnam
  • Language: English fluent, Vietnamese native
  • Remuneration commensurate with relevant working experience and job knowledge
  • Travelling within Vietnam is compulsory
