Our Client

Our client is seeking a Sales Manager in the Netherlands to expand their business in theoil, gas, and renewable energy sector. This role will focus on identifying business opportunities, fostering client satisfaction, and supporting regional growth without strict sales targets.

This position is remote.

Requirements

Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and engage new clients to grow revenue and expand the client base.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with our client’s objectives for market penetration.
  • Lead the sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation to close.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders in the oil and gas sector.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
  • Gather and analyze client feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Market Research & Strategic Development

  • Conduct market analysis to uncover business opportunities and revenue growth areas.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to craft and implement tailored sales strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to strengthen competitive advantage.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to align on objectives and refine sales approaches.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to enhance product quality and client service standards.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze sales data, report on key metrics, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Use CRM and other tools to manage client interactions and track opportunities.
  • Generate insights from data to improve sales strategies.

Candidate Requirements

  • Solid experience in sales or client management, ideally in oil and gas.
  • Proven sales success, particularly in the European market.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
