Job description

The Role

Location:
UK & Ireland, National Role, Field Based from a UK base. Minimum of 3 days per month will be in Ireland & 2 from Northampton.
Reports To:
Sales Director – UK & dotted line to GM Ireland.
Main Purpose:
Develop and grow F&P’s brand and products across allocated Electrical Retail accounts through strategic sales planning and dedicated account management, increasing market share and delivering profitable growth in the short and long term.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Delivery
  • Responsible for planning and implementing the national retail strategy for allocated Electrical Retail accounts.
  • Develop a Strategic National Sales Plan (NSP) with annual sales targets, product placement, marketing, and promotional programmes.
  • Ensure effective execution of NSPs, resulting in increased product market share and profitable growth.
  • Engage stakeholders for effective cross-functional collaboration, meeting business needs.
  • Provide regular reporting updates on account portfolios to the local and global Market Group.
Account Management
  • Understand customer account businesses and environmental influences.
  • Manage and cultivate existing account relationships to leverage growth opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new customer opportunities, fostering enthusiasm for the brand's vision and products.
  • Ensure seamless representation of the brand's value proposition across all accounts.
  • Maintain product availability, meet customer needs, and provide proactive support, including product training.
  • Monitor daily sales performance metrics to maximise revenue and margin.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous account management experience is essential.
  • Experience and passion for the Electrical Retail, Consumer Electronics, or Technology industry is highly desirable.
  • Shows a positive and flexible approach to change.
  • Strong desire for self-development and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Proven track record in increasing sales and margins within an account portfolio.
  • Understanding of constructing a Sales Plan in line with the overall company strategy.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to analyse business results and deliver actionable insights.
  • Experience working within a "premium" culture and environment is beneficial.
