Job Scope and Accountabilities:
Are you ready to shape the future of governance, risk, and compliance software? As our Director of Product Management, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovation and growth for SAI360’s cutting-edge GRC software. Partnering closely with our VP of Product Management, you will have a pivotal role in defining and executing the strategy and roadmap to enhance our current offerings and bring groundbreaking new solutions to market. This role will suit a GRC subject matter expert with hands-on product management experience who enjoys working across complex products within a technically demanding environment.
The role requires the ability to work with a team based in the United States, Europe and India which may be outside standard work hours in your work location.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management
- Deeply understand the needs of our business and customers to build clarity on the requirements for a global GRC product.
- Use your insights and knowledge from customers as well as GRC subject matter expertise to provide input into the overall GRC strategy.
- Develop (detailed) requirements, user stories, user interface mockups, storyboards, and other artifacts required to ensure clarity of product definition and design.
- Conduct walk-throughs and signoffs, verifying that new and updated solutions accurately portray use cases and designs with the most optimal user experience.
- Report out and provide status updates on delivery of roadmap initiatives and commitments.
- Prepare and communicate product updates, launches, feature releases and development with Product Marketing to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure that appropriate documentation is completed and released, for both internal and end-user purposes.
- Prioritize features for roadmap initiatives and continuous improvement ideas using market, competitor and buyer information and prioritization methodology such as RICE, ICE, MoSCoW, WSJF
- Collaborate extensively with cross functional teams, including development teams, product architects, UI/IX designers, and Product Marketing teams for the delivery of the product
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices GRC including GRC Technologies.
Market and Competitor Understanding
- Continually review and understand market research data and work with the VP of Product Management for the product’s go-to-market strategy.Provide analysis and recommendations on emerging industry trends in combination with competitive knowledge to support the strategy for GRC solutions.
- Recommend priorities for improving product capabilities and overall product financial success in a highly competitive market.
- Maintain an understanding of the competition, and how customers think of, buy and utilize the product.
Marketing, Sales, Professional Services and Customer Support
- Support Marketing, Sales, Professional Services and Customer Support teams through product knowledge. Partner with Product Marketing to ensure product messaging is correct and reflective of the capabilities of the product.
- Support marketing activities by participating in customer events, providing input, and writing subject matter expert collateral (e.g., blogs, eBooks, whitepapers), as required.
- Provide training to the professional services and sales teams to educate on product releases.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as liaison link between our customers, Sales, Client Services, and the development team for new feature requests, software enhancements, quality issues, new product releases and knowledge sharing of new features.
- Work with external clients to develop and maintain relationships, including management of Customer Requirements, Customer Webinars and Presentations
- Act as the customer advocate articulating the user’s and/or buyer’s needs.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- 3+ years in Product Management for B2B Governance, Risk, Compliance Software as a Service (SaaS) Domain expertise in Risk, Compliance and/or Resilience, focused on the North American market
- An excellent understanding of product management, including participation in all stages of the software development lifecycle. As well as experience with Agile software methodologies.
- Proven experience in defining requirements, articulating solution design and crafting user stories.
- Experience in working in virtual teams across multiple locations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Critical attention-to-detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in tight timeframes, while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Proven success bringing products to market that are robust, scalable, high quality and easy to use.
- Experience in conducting requirements workshops and facilitating consensus in a landscape of diverse and potentially conflicting requirements.
- Experience in Healthcare compliance is highly desirable
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, the base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 plus opportunities for bonuses or commission. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
