The Director of Strategic Partnerships will lead a team of account managers responsible for cultivating and securing corporate financial support for AnitaB.org event sponsorships, programs, and products. This position reporting to the Senior Vice President Revenue will help set the overall vision and plan for their team to increase and diversify revenue with existing and new partners. This will be a career-making move for the right individual, as you’ll be joining at a pivotal time of restructuring, influencing, developing, and deploying our new GTM strategy.
The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled relationship-builder with a deep understanding of partnership development. They excel at identifying and securing mutually beneficial collaborations that align with AnitaB.org mission and strategic goals. This is a perfect role for a sales leader that shares a passion for women and technology, DEIB and has an interest in doing meaningful, mission-based work.
Here's what you'll do
- Develop and implement partnership strategies to drive AnitaB.org missions, aligning with organizational goals and funding priorities.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with key stakeholders and new business prospects.
- Negotiate and formalize agreements that outline roles, responsibilities, and goals for both the organization and the partners.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and other materials to prospective partners, effectively communicating the organization’s value and mission.
- Collaborate with leadership to set team objectives, defining metrics and outcomes to measure success and impact.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration and execution of partnership initiatives across departments.
- Continuously review, analyze, and coach each team members’ performance and identify improvement and growth opportunities.
- Ensure team members foster strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction during the entire sales to fulfillment lifecycle.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the tech industry, DEIB trends, and the emerging competitive landscape.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned, which means to be agile and rise to the challenge: in service to our mission, from time to time, we do ask team members to take on, or volunteer to take on, additional or different duties outside of their formal job description.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in partnership development, strategic alliances or business development, preferably within the nonprofit sector of social impact sector.
- Outstanding account management skills, with a record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Demonstrated ability to relate well to and understand the needs and interests of industry partners; must have excellent relationship building skills.

- Skills in analyzing performance metrics to identify trends, improvement areas, and growth opportunities.
- A passion for discovering, developing, and implementing new tools and methodologies to keep our processes modern and efficient, with an uncanny ability to adapt to changing market conditions and challenges.
- Comfort working in ambiguous and/or startup environments.
- Proficiency in donor database systems (Salesforce preferred) and lead management systems (Zoom Info, Engage, LinkedIn sales navigator).
- Ability to travel as position requires.
AnitaB.org is proud to offer a remote, distributed workplace. Please know we cannot accommodate remote work outside of the United States. The salary range for this position is $128,300 - $139,770, plus incentive compensation and competitive benefits, including health insurance, vision, dental and a 403(b) discretionary match.
