CEC Entertainment, the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper restaurants, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This position is based at our Corporate Support Center in Irving, TX.
The Talent Acquisition “TA” Specialist is responsible for providing a wide range of TA support in acquisition initiatives. This is not a Recruiter position.
- Collect and analyze front-line worker headcount needs, including identifying the greatest geographical needs.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and greatest local challenges.
- Source candidates and present them to the hiring managers.
- Calculate and track the ROI of the front-line worker recruiting program.
- Data management, reporting, and analysis of other key TA metrics.
- Create standard and ad hoc reports.
- Assist Talent Acquisition Managers with technical and vendor-related issues as needed.
- Provide support to fun center and restaurant locations in the areas of backgrounds, job postings, ATS issues, and candidate updates, etc.
- Provide relocation assistance to transferring employees.
- Administer the employee referral and sign-on bonus programs.
- Provide support to candidates in the various stages of the pre-hire process.
- Provide support to the Sales Center (opening positions through onboarding support).
- Monitor and respond to messages sent to shared email inboxes, from internal and external sources.
- Shared responsibility for the execution of three different monthly audits (backgrounds, texting, and operational support).
- Use PowerPoint to provide key Talent Acquisition data to leadership.
- Become an expert user of Workday, our recruitment system.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Serve on TA project teams and ensure objectives are delivered on time and under budget.
- Serve on the company culture committee, including having ownership for the planning and execution of some social events.
Essential Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR, or other high-volume support role.
- Degree in Human Resources or Business preferred, or combination of education and experience.
- 1+ year of sourcing candidates from various databases highly preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Familiarity with recruitment systems is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated history in creating ad hoc reports.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to analyze key performance data.
- Ability to think through process flows and the end results.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, highly detailed, and excellent project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 – 25 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work an 8-hour shift, with some overtime. Incumbent must also be available to travel as needed.
