Job description

As a Business Development Manager, you will be the commercial brain behind their growth in Germany and on the international market. You are the ‘hunter’ with a knack for attracting new clients. How? By actively prospecting, expanding your network, and successfully capitalising on the sales opportunities contributed by your colleagues.

Your tasks:

  • Actively approach new clients based on leads, prospects, and your own network;
  • Collaborate with your colleagues nationally and internationally with a view to following up on sales opportunities;
  • Develop creative sales strategies and execute them in collaboration with the International Business Development Director;
  • Keep a sharp eye on market trends and the competition while formulating strategic recommendations based on measurable data;
  • Attend both online and offline networking events, and constantly be on the lookout for new contacts and opportunities.


Requirements
  • You are passionate about language as well as commerce; Experience in the language sector is a plus but not a must;
  • You have at least three years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally in solution selling;
  • You are a creative problem-solver with strategic insight, and know how to build strong relationships;
  • You are fluent in both German and English, and can function equally well independently and in a team;
  • Expertise in IT solutions and experience with tools such as HubSpot or similar platforms are a plus.
