JOB SUMMARY

The Regional Sales Manager will provides leadership to the sales team. They will motivate and encourage the sales team to ensure quotas are met. Review and analyze sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accomplishes regional sales objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in assigned districts.
  • Communicates job expectations by planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions, and employee enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Plans and reviews compensation strategies.
  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Prepares and completes action plans and implements sales related customer-service standards.
  • Resolves problems, identifies trends, determines regional improvements, and implements change when necessary.
  • Meets regional sales objectives by forecasting requirements
  • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan to align with company and account manager objectives
  • Maintains and expands customer base by coaching account managers, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Collaborates with Marketing to execute territory events to build HPN brand awareness and drive incremental revenue

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Passion for sales

  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communications skills
  • Ability to guide and mentor account managers
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
  • Experience with NetSuite to manage the sales process and forecast sales
