Fieldpiece is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to expand and train our distributor network to maximize sales and gain market share.  The ideal candidate has 3+ years of B2B sales experience including building a distribution network, creating a territory sales plan and driving sales.  You have an HVACR background and/or sold physical products - tools, equipment, instruments, electronics - through a distribution network.  You’re a resourceful self-starter with excellent communication skills and a desire to build a territory.  You’re a true ambassador of our company, products, and service and easily build relationships with distributors, end users, and internal teams. 

 

While this position is remote with heavy travel, you must be based near Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.

What You’ll Do

 

  • Manage territory sales representatives’ activities to maximize sales revenue and achieve goals established with the General Manager.
  • Train sales representatives, distributors and end users on product, sales strategies and promotions.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with Distributor Associates, Management and End Users.
  • Deliver regular sales reporting - analyze data and contribute marketplace knowledge to identify opportunities and act to maximize sales.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of B2B sales – ideally in HVACR, consumer electronics or similar field.
  • Team player with a high level of ethics, honesty and moral compass.
  • Must be a proactive self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a commitment to high standards. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills with the ability to develop relationships at every level.
  • Charismatic, good listener and willing to be an effective ambassador and spokesperson for the company, brand, culture, mission, vision and values.
  • Willing and able to travel throughout Australia 75% of the time.
