What You Will Bring:
You have an extensive background as an HR partner, having supported revenue organizations with HR strategy in high-growth start-up environments. You lead with pragmatism, process, and data, and bring innovative strategies to develop and execute HR priorities that support the business and build strong relationships. You are curious, possess strong business acumen, have the ability to diagnose root-cause issues, and can influence all levels of the organization. You also have the ability to flex at all levels and dive into the details when needed to ensure success.

What You Will Do:
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and counselor to business leaders and their respective organizations to implement people strategies
  • Partner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, career paths, leadership and employee development
  • Report, review and analyze data such as employee retention, hiring, and engagement to improve the employee experienceProvide compensation support and assistance with job leveling and writing job descriptions
  • Partner with leaders to create engagement survey action plans and support performance management issues
  • Partner with hiring managers on recruiting: building staffing strategies, posting roles, recruiting for specialized or executive roles as needed, and creating a sustainable pipeline of talent to nurture a sustainable and diverse talent pipeline
  • Work with employees to address their questions and employee relations matters to support a positive work environment aligned with Beam’s core values
  • May take on additional company-wide People Team operational and communication projects as needed (training, leave administration, benefits open enrollment, merit cycles, company surveys, onboarding, etc.)

  • What Skills Will Help You Be Successful:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 + years experience as an HR Business Partner, including experience supporting a revenue team
  • Prior management experience preferred
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP designation preferred
  • Prior experience in other HR disciplines such as compensation, benefits, recruiting, and organizational development required
  • Knowledge of best practices for sales commission plan design and administration
  • Ability to analyze and review data, making recommendations based on trends
  • Must be able to coach executives and be a strategic thinker
  • Must be able to balance competing priorities and prioritize accordingly while understanding business objectives
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships
  • Ability to adapt to change in a rapidly changing work environment
