JOB DESCRIPTION FOR AN SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING SPECIALIST
Responsibilities as a Social Media Marketing Specialist:
• Develop and execute social media strategies for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube channels, focusing on increasing reach, engagement, and brand visibility.
• Create engaging video and static content tailored to platform best practices, including managing and optimizing F.B. and TikTok shops.
• Analyze social media performance using insights and analytics tools, and provide actionable reporting to inform and improve strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media campaigns with broader business goals.
• Manage content calendars using tools like Asana, Trello, or other planning software to ensure timely, relevant content rollout.
Qualifications as a Social Media Marketing Specialist:
• 2+ years in social media marketing, with knowledge of best practices for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Ability to create original video and static content for social media platforms.
• Experience working with US-based e-commerce businesses and managing social media shops.
• Proficient in analyzing metrics, reporting on social media performance, and refining strategies based on data insights.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt content strategies based on performance metrics and evolving social media trends
• Creative and strategic thinker, with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Tools & Software
• Photoshop, Canva, Semrush, Asana/Trello/Social Media Content Calendar, MS Suite.
