Millennial Assistants is looking to expand our network of freelance social media assistants!
We work with social media assistants with various levels of experience. As a social media with Millennial Assistants, you'll help strategize, enter, schedule, and maintain content for use across various platforms. The goal for all of your support efforts should be to help our small business clients grow their online presence and, ultimately, their company.

You're tech savvy and require minimal oversight
You are an active follower of current trends in social media and social media enthusiast with a strong understanding of sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
You're excited to learn and develop an understanding of what goes into social media management and content strategy
You're a grammar enthusiast who is comfortable editing and proofreading your own work and the work of others
You have excellent attention to detail and a desire to produce high-quality work
Responsibilities may include:
Interpreting client and manager briefings to understand project requirements
Performing industry and keyword research
Gathering post content from various departments and schedule posts to various social media platforms for MA clients using tools provided
Assisting in the set up of social media campaigns
Monitoring social media profiles, including responding to comments and messages
Assisting with the creation of client social media profiles
Interacting with other social media pages as clients' business profiles
Communicating and collaborating with management and other teams (such as graphics or web designers) to get a better understanding of what the project requires
Proofreading posts as needed before scheduling
Taking direction and feedback from managers when given
Social media support work is paid on an hourly basis. Hourly rates start at $11.50/hour and increase based on experience with periodic pay increases based on performance, cash flow, and terms of involvement within the company. The opportunity for fee-based projects is available occasionally.
Contractors with Millennial Assistants are their own boss and business - they set their own hours, accept or decline projects, and can work with their own clients outside of Millennial Assistants. Millennial Assistants makes no guarantee on volume of project availability or amount of money that can be made with us. We are an agency that partners with contractors/freelancers who are notified when work is available.
