Job description

Network Health is seeking an Accounting Assistant. This individual performs various tasks, with a focus on accounts receivable. This include taking inbound phone calls from members to collect premium payments, answer questions regarding payments or invoices as well as other day to day responsibilities. The Accounting Assistant interacts with both internal and external customers either via phone or in person.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide appropriate support for data requests
  • Enter journal entries into financial software
  • Develop & maintain processes and procedures as necessary to handle day-to-day duties
  • Perform various accounts receivable activities
  • Perform various accounts payable activities
  • Assist in the preparation of reports
  • Maintains a working knowledge of regulatory requirements needed to perform job tasks
  • Maintain proper document storage retention
  • Escalate non-compliance issues when encountered
  • Completes special projects and other duties as assigned 
  • Answer calls from members or provider offices regarding payments.

Job Requirements:

  • High school required
  • Associates Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Zero to three years of experience required

**This is a hybrid position. The candidate is eligible to work from home 2-3 days per week and at the corporate office (Menasha) 2-3 days per week. Work at home office requirements must be met in order to work remotely.
