Job Summary

The Network Specialist- Provider Relations builds and maintains our relationships with the ComPsych network of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and counselors in order for us to assist our clients with their EAP and behavioral health needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Respond to provider inquiries and to internal inquiries relating to the provider network and continue to follow through to completion and resolution
  • Negotiate the Provider's rates while complying within ComPsych's established guidelines and procedures
  • Resolve provider related complaints and issues in a timely manner
  • Document all Provider discussions and ensure that the Provider data in the database is up to date and accurate
  • Maintain positive working relationships with our network providers
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of professional business experience
  • Experience working in an Insurance, Benefits, and/or Human Resources related industry preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize and problem solve
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, including follow-up
