The ideal candidate will be passionate, pro-active, self-supporting and easily converse with (new) business partners and customers to maximize value creation for Hypertherm, partner and customer.
As a 3D Robotics Sales Manager, you will (amongst others):
Be accountable to increase Hypertherm’s revenue / market share through 3D / Robotic capable CP’s and drive the promotion, sales and support of Hypertherm plasma and waterjet cutting systems and robotic programming software, consumables, and parts for 3D/robotic cutting applications with an initial focus on plasma-based solutions and robotic offline programming software.
Identify key stakeholders to grow and maintain partner relationships through understanding customers’ decision-making processes.
Proactively identify unanticipated customer needs and partner trends to gain insights and capitalize on these trends.
Use consultative selling techniques to drive the distinct value proposition of our solutions, adopt EUX processes and maximize Hypertherm share at partners.
Align technical and business benefits of products and services with customers’ needs (new and current) and work with partners to design solutions to optimize the willingness to pay of customers.
Create clear, impact & influence persuasive client-ready materials to be used in presentations to multiple CP Stakeholders.
Have basic knowledge of market dynamics, including but not limited to competition, technology, vertical segments, applications, partner community, customers/industries, and geographies.
Who you are and the experience you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree and/or 6-10 years industry experience of cutting technologies (plasma, laser, waterjet) and/or robotic software sales experience with proven consultative and solutions selling skills
Regional Sales/Software Sales Management experience in industrial software, robotics or advanced automation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build relations and present to target audiences, from the shop floor to Executive level to Channel Partners
Ability to respond to first level of technical questions
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
Strong computer skills
Independently motivated, self-driven, and self-sufficient
This is a salaried position with incentives.
Physical Demands and Travel:
Travel: Up to 50% Americas (of which the majority will be in the USA)
Location: Home-Based (Must reside within North America with preference to Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana) within two hours of an International Airport
Operate plasma equipment within safety guideline

This is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.
Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.
