BUSINESS AREA
The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. (S)he will be the brand owner of planning and executing the external strategic plan with key customers for our product portfolio. This position will report directly to the respective Franchise Lead and will work in close partnership with cross functional team including field sales, medical and other functions to ensure we have a strong market presence.
What you’ll do
- Coach and hold each individual team member accountable for performance targets, ensuring meeting sales objectives
- Attract, select and develop talent to meet current and future business needs, building high performing teams that apply their diverse skills to achieve common goals
- Translate and implement national strategy to accounts’ action plan, serving as an ambassador for KAM way of working to achieve tailor made KAM projects
- Build partnership and networks with external and internal stakeholders and ensure optimal flow of business serving as a central connection between brand and sales teams
- Collect insights from the market environment and through the team that enable shaping the strategy and initiatives to local reality and accounts’ unique situation
Essential for the role
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in scientific or business discipline
- 3+ years’ sales experience on Specialty Products preferably in Oncology
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in an organization with cross-functional teams
- Analytical thinking and data synthesis ability
- Result-oriented mindset
- Effective stakeholder and relationship management experience; able to interact with multiple levels within and outside of AZ
- Understanding of Account Planning and Customer management
- Fluent in Greek and English
Desirable for the role
- Master’s Degree
- Previous experience in people management position
