The Mission

Join our dynamic team at Caylent as an HR Business Partner (HRBP). We are seeking a talented HR professional that will promote the growth and development of Caylent’s employees, by collaborating closely with Caylent’s People Leaders, Learning & Development Team, and the broader HR team.  The initial primary responsibility of this role will be to own the Feedback collection and synthesis process and be responsible for providing insights that help People Leaders (and Technical Leaders) support and develop their teams.  The role will evolve over time so as to include additional responsibilities (other than those listed below), and to mature into a true business partner for People Leaders across Caylent. 

Your Assignment
1. Performance Management

Feedback Collection and Administration:

  • Create and Oversee the Feedback gathering function for People Leaders (specifically Service Delivery People Leaders) - so that each member of the Service Delivery team, receives feedback related to the project that they are working on - at the start of the project, 45/90 days into the project, at project completion, and at other key project milestones.  
  • Compile and synthesize the Feedback that is received and organize it in a manner so that People Leaders are easily able to digest and take action on the information.

Performance Review Administration:

  • Make recommendations to People Leaders based on HRBP interpretation of the Feedback, and knowledge of the Career Development paths and Performance Review criteria.

PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) Administration:

  • Lead the PIP Process, including the creation and tracking PIPs, ensuring they comply with company policies.
  • Equip People Leaders with the necessary tools and resources for effective PIP implementation.

2. Career Development & Growth

  • Become an expert in Caylent’s Career Development framework (i.e. know the Skills and Competencies required for each role at Caylent). 
  • Responsible for heavily supporting People Leaders to ensure that their team members all have Career Development paths (and Individual Development Plans) to help guide their Career Development progression at Caylent. 
  • Routinely follow up with People Leaders and their team members to guide them through next steps on their Individual Career Development Plans..
  • Provide People Leaders with structured templates for learning and development plans, focusing on technical and leadership growth.

3. Compensation and Promotions

  • Lead the administrative process for compensation planning, incorporating regional market data and salary band adjustments.
  • Oversee promotions and salary changes documentation, ensuring decisions align with global standards.
  • Promote transparency in the compensation process and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

4. Compliance and Training

  • Manage all compliance-related responsibilities, including mandatory non-technical training and adherence to regional legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance documents are regularly updated and easily accessible to relevant teams.

5. Onboarding

Onboarding Management:

  • Assist Caylent’s HR Team in the onboarding process to introduce employees to Caylent’s culture, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Caylent’s L&D Team to create and administer the global training curriculum, covering soft skills and role-specific training.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all compliance training is completed and properly documented

6. Employee Engagement and Cultural Initiatives

  • Support employee engagement initiatives across the company as needed (i.e. helping to support or organize local events, cultural programs, and regional gatherings).

  • 3-5 years of HR Business Partner experience, ideally in a remote or global environment.
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of country-specific employment-related laws and regulations.
