School Based SLP - Howard County

Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Howard County, MD (Zip code 21042)
Start Date: Immediate for 5 positions, January 1, 2025 for 2 positions
Pay Rate: $55/hr-$57.50/hr

• Immediate interviews available

Job Description: Due to a growing number of students requiring SLP services, we have immediate vacancies for 5 full-time Speech-Language Pathologists. These positions are mostly combinations, meaning the contractor would cover two schools. These are “added” positions to ease the burden of SLPs currently carrying heavier than expected caseloads. The 5 positions are at the PreK/Elementary level, with locations mostly in central, eastern, and southern Howard County.

We also have a need for 2 full-time SLP positions starting in January 2025:

• 1 position at the PreK level
• 1 position at the Middle School level (split between 2 schools)

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students
• Manage and prioritize caseloads based on interview and experience
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student needs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Qualifications:

• Valid MD SLP license
• Experience in educational settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
