What You Will Be Doing:
The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will assist the Chief Financial Officer in ensuring that the company’s plans and objectives result in the maximum value creation for its shareholders, customers and employees. The role will require in-depth experience and understanding of the business to interact regularly & effectively with the company’s senior leadership and shareholders to assess RegEd's performance both financially and operationally, thus identifying opportunities to be exploited, weaknesses to be remediated and developing business plans accordingly.
Responsibilities:
- In-depth development of the company’s financial plans and forecasts
- Identification/plans related to company’s Key Performance Indicators objectives and leading metrics that ultimately drive financial performance
- Timely reporting & analysis of the company’s financial/operational performance, identifying trends or variances that impact the company’s performance-and-collaborating in the effective remediation/exploitation of any variances
- Assessment of the financial considerations related to potential business decisions and/or investments
- Collaborating effectively with the company’s senior leadership to develop accurate assumptions and/or positively influence all the above
- Communicating plans or results in a concise, effective manner via presentation or other methods
You’ve Got What It Takes If You:
- Experience with understanding financial principles, processes and practices
- Ability to organize data/information in a manner where the conclusion is easily understood
- Ability to assess variances, trends, performance and/or proposals to determine the causes and/or impacts
- Ability to concisely communicate and influence with a high degree of gravitas (confidence, confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact and diplomacy) to accomplish objectives
- Strong working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
- Experience with ERP & CRM systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, SFC, etc.)
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance
- Prior FP&A experience, preferably across a wide scope of FP&A roles
Nice to Have:
- MBA preferred
- Software company experience in either accounting or FP&A disciplines, preferably a SaaS company or with similar experience revenue recognition practices

The compensation range for this position is $100,000-$175,000. RegEd's compensation package is based on each candidate's unique skills, qualifications and experience. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience and qualifications. The total compensation package also includes our comprehensive benefits package, vacation time, sick time, volunteer time and parental leave.
