In Zalando ZEOS (B2B Logistics), we aim to provide our partners with a profitable fulfillment experience, not only within Zalando but across multiple European marketplaces. We provide a holistic approach to delivering the optimal fulfillment solution to meet our partners’ needs by unifying these services under a single umbrella. The data management team plays a pivotal role in enabling data-driven insights and decision-making for our partners and business stakeholders.
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Data Engineer to join our growing team. This role is perfect for recent graduates or those with 1-2 years of work/internship experience who are passionate about data and eager to learn. You'll work closely with our data team to support our data-driven decision-making processes and help build the foundation of our data infrastructure.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python
Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Attention to detail and a passion for data-driven solutions
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Knowledge of database systems and SQL
Basic understanding of big data technologies
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Previous internship or experience in data-related roles
