As a Procurement Officer you will conduct RFI, RFQ, and RFP’s for some of our most complex purchases and sourcing needs . You will be in charge of the commercial term negotiation in terms of price, payment terms, and more. You will evaluate the bid results, cost analysis and make recommendations to management. You will also monitor and expedite the delivery of orders, as well as ensure that all purchasing activities are conducted in accordance with the Procurement department and company's compliance policies. As an officer, you will partner with other departments, review contracts, and handle negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor due diligence and management

  • Conduct competitive bidding: Request for Information/Quotation/Proposal

  • Lead and support procurement projects that address business needs across the organization. 

  • Successfully execute sourcing, demand management and continuous improvement projects to deliver business objectives.

  • Build excellent relationships with business stakeholders up to and including the executive level and provide business challenges where necessary.

  • Develop and actively manage supplier partners and ensure optimal supplier performance.

  • Operate within the TaskUs Procurement operating model.

  • Deliver cost savings benefits to the business aligned to procurement goals.

  • Collaborate with members within the Facilities Team to determine which agreements are near expiration and prepare to solicit new bids and select providers

  • Identify new purchasing cooperatives that may drive value more effectively than our existing agreements.

  • In conjunction with the Procurement Manager, negotiate with existing vendors to increase savings or create more efficient processes to reduce direct and in-direct costs.

  • Review existing agreements to recommend improvements in contract terms, reduce risk, mitigate waste, and streamline the procurement process.

  • Contract commercial terms review and negotiation.

  • Ensure accurate and timely issuance of Purchase Orders and execution of contracts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

  • Professional experience in procurement in a BPO or similar of at least 4 years

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors

  • Problem solving, analytical mindset

  • Data driven in order to evaluate complex procurement issues

  • Fluency in Greek and English both written and spoken
